What’s more, ladybug designs are also used in nail art. Nails have proved to be one of the best canvases to create such cute animal designs. And ladybug nail designs are probably the cutest you can create on your nails.
The standard colors that you use for ladybug designs are red, black, and white. However, with creativity reaching new heights, colors are no bar when it comes to creating ladybug nail art. Any color combination can be used on your nails for creating those cute little ladybugs. The easiest way to create a ladybug design on your nails is to start by painting your nails with red polish. Next, you draw a vertical line across your nails with black using a dotting tool or a thin nail art brush. You then use your dotting tool and create black dots on the two red halves on your nails. Do an inverted French tip on your nails with black and create two white dots on the French tip for eyes. Once done apply a top coat and you’re done with your ladybug nails.
If you are really good with your nail art tools then you can also go on to create little ladybugs on your nails. For this kind of design, you can have a base coat of any color of your choice. Preferably, you should choose a pastel color for your base coat, since that will enhance and make the ladybugs stand out on your nails. This ladybug nail design looks quite cute and is one that even little girls can wear. For little girls, a base coat of pastel pink, blue, or green would look quite cute and attractive. For the ladybugs you can use the standard black and red polish colors.
Another creative and innovative way of creating ladybug nail designs is to simply use the ladybug colors on your nails. For example you can use the colors black and red to create a French tip. For this design you can paint your nails with a nude color polish for base coat and then do a French tip with the colors red and black. You can also simply paint your nails with red for base color and then do an inverted French tip with black along with creating a black vertical line, and leave it at that. This will also prove to be a great ladybug nail design for you.
