2. DIY Cherry Blossom Prom Nail Design

For this gorgeous nail design, you would need shades of white, silver, pink in shimmering tones, top coat, nail art brush, paper, nail polish remover, tissue. Begin by coating white as your base paint. Once dry, dip your nail brush into a bottle of brown to make branches as seen in the image. Wipe out any extra paint dripping from your brush using a tissue. Now, clean your brush with nail polish remover and dip it in a bottle of grey paint to add extra hues to the branches. Other colors you may use are silver and nude paints to add more depth to the design. Take the brush and make small dots in pink to make flowers. Layer with a top coat.

3. Cute Floral Prom Nail Design

You would need colors in white, red, lavender and blue. Coat your nails with a red paint as base color. Dry. Now, using white, make the two bigger petals of the flowers starting from the moon of your nails, extending downwards to create a v shape. Use light cream to make inner petals and once dry, use white to draw two strips as seen. To make the outer petals, use a brush and lavender and make fine strokes. Let the color dry and then add a stroke of white inside the lavender petals. Seal with a top coat.

4. Black Tuxedo Prom Nail Design

You can wear this trendy tux look on your nails and try giving some competition to your prom date! Start painting a base coat of white. Dry. Using a stripping brush, make a v shaped design on the nails. Now, using a brush or a toothpick that has been dipped in black polish, fill up the outer portion of the v shape. Using a toothpick and black again, make the three buttons vertically. With the help of a stripping brush, make an X to create a bow tie. Now, use the toothpick to fill the two portions or triangles of the tie. Seal with a top coat to retain the glossy look.

5. Gorgeous Red Dress And Tuxedo Prom Nail Design

Paint your nails with a base coat of white or shimmering peach/pink. For the tuxedo design, start putting dots in red, like in the image, and follow those up with a bow, beginning at the corners of the first dot. Be steady. Dry the nails. Then, using red, complete the tuxedo look by making a v shape on the bottom of the nail, positioning it in such a way that it is angled inwards. Next, start making the prom dress by drawing a heart at the bottom. For the necklace design, make dots in the shape of an U. Brush up the nail with a few particles of glitter to add more spice. For the index finger and the pinky, stick heart stamps. Seal with a top coat.

6. Glittery Prom Nail Design

Paint your nails using a clear base coat polish and dry. Now, using glitter polish, paint the nail tips as seen. Then, using another bottle of glitter polish that has smaller particles of glitter, paint all over the nails. Seal with a top clear coat that retains the shine. You are done!

7. Golden Glittery Prom Nail Design

This nail design is simple yet very gorgeous in appearance with not much effort. Firstly, paint your nails with a base coat of clear nail polish. Dry, and then, using a fine brush and golden glittery nail polish, make a line on the tips of the nails, just where the fleshy part begins. Dry and start to fill the tips using golden glitter polish. Using a dotting tool and a brush, make the beautiful golden design on the ring finger. Seal with a clear top coat.

8. Glam Gradient Golden Prom Nail Design

Paint your nails with a base coat and white polish. Dry for five minutes. Using golden polish by China Glaze, paint one third of the nails. You can make a little mess as this will help bring out the gradient effect in a better way. Now, use a brush, polish your nails with golden glitters by Fergie Glamorous, making only small glitters visible. Then, use bigger sized glitter particles to be placed on the golden painted part of the nails. This can be done by using a toothpick. Paste a few golden glitters on the white part of the nails to lend a gradient look. Now, make very small dots all over the nails with the golden polish. Apply a top coat to retain the gloss.

9. Ombre Glitter Prom Nail Design

Paint your nails with a nude or cream nail hardener. Then, paint almost a quarter of your tips using dark blue polish. Repeat for all the tips. Now, paint the tips over with a shade of light blue as seen in the image. Apply three coats and dry. Now paint two thirds of your nails using the same sky blue. Once dry, take the brush and sky blue color to paint the space between the cuticle and the painted portion. However, do not fill the whole space, instead keep it bare. Apply a coat of glitter nail polish. Wait for the nails to become a little dry and then apply a top coat of clear polish.

Begin painting your nails with a base coat of coral or peach pink by Sally Hansen, the brand chosen here and the name of the color is Get Juiced. Dry. Now, take a nail art brush and use the bottle of Trouble Maker, i.e., purple polish to make a semi circle from one edge of the nail to another. Repeat this for all the nails and place these semi circles in any way you like. Then, using black polish and brush, paint over the nails in such a way that a tiny portion is left white towards the bottom and creates a moon like shape. Now, dip your art brush into a bottle of mint green and make flowers as in the picture. Now, using a nail art brush, make inner petals in minty orange and red. For this you would start painting your nails using a base coat of peach or baby pink as you like as it suits any skin tone and texture. Apply a second coat and dry. Now, using a striping tape, press down two double lined tapes horizontally to create strips. Now, apply a coat of dark pink over the tapes and once a little dry, peel off the tapes. Thereafter, paint the first strip with sparkle or glitter as seen, followed by sticking two rhinestones in the middle strips or anywhere as you may want. Seal with a top coat.

Paint a base coat of blue on all the nails. Dry them up before starting to make the heart shapes using a nail art pen or brush. The heart shapes must be painted using black as the outline and once these dry up, fill the insides with red or pink as you wish. Now, using black, create bubbles or dots and fill these up with the white color. The design has to be sealed with a top coat of any clear polish.
