Nail art, like all other forms of art out there, is first and foremost, an outlet to express one’s current emotions. One of the obvious indications of what mood the owner is at the moment is the nail colors he/she is wearing. There are colors that signify love, pain, joy, and solitude. Sometimes, the preference for nail polish is also based on the prevailing character of the person. Some people are loud and bubbly so they choose bright designs, while some prefer simple and humble which is today’s target audience.
Earth tone nail art has the basic color options of brown, orange, green, gray, and all in between. For some, earth tone may be boring but if done perfectly, they are actually a good choice to mix and match any wardrobe. Also, earth tone nail art speaks a certain type of attitude, an independent, mysterious attitude. Earth tones are best rendered in matte however it still looks good on glossy type. Glitters and jewels are also welcome to these designs as it adds layers and texture to the nails.
